Image Configuration
UDT can install customer provided image on mobility solutions (desktops, laptops, tablets, etc) at its dedicated Configuration Center in Orlando, Florida. UDT will coordinate and deploy one, several or many images across all platforms. UDT has the flexibility, experience and ability to customize an image solution to fit any customer requirements.
Warehousing/Staging
Clients with tight warehouse or staging space, or those planning a large equipment deployment can turn to UDT to oversee warehousing and logistics needs. For new equipment orders, UDT will accept delivery, confirm shipping accuracy, inspect equipment and facilitate a just-in-time delivery as required.. For existing equipment removal, UDT can assist in coordinating the de-install of the equipment, assist in the removal of the old units and storage at UDT’s Configuration Center location until equipment must to be shipped back to the client location or any third party location. If requested, UDT can certify DOD wipe the equipment and provide certificate of completion.
Asset Laser Engraving
UDT provides state of the art laser engraving for all IT equipment and assets. . UDT Asset Laser Etching includes project coordination of the asset process, procurement and receiving of inventory, unpacking and verifying the bill of materials, generating custom asset design with customer, engraving final approved design to all assets, performing QC and ensure proper engraving details, and re-packing and facilitating delivery to customer.
Network Configuration
UDT’s certified network technicians make network implementation seamless and efficient. Through coordination of configuration of client equipment and streamlining of the network implementation process prior to delivery, clients can have an updated network up and operational immediately upon delivery – enabling the client to focus on core business needs. Among the services provided under Tier 1 Staging and performed at the UDT Configuration Center, a trained Engineer will configure the router(s) or switch(es), and oversee all project coordination of the staging process. This includes procurement and receiving of inventory; unpacking and verifying the bill of materials; asset Management, including recording of model name, model number and serial number; power-on self test, installation of necessary memory, line cards, and network modules into the chassis; performing a complete functionality check up of the unit and loading the latest or customer designated IOS software version; loading customer provided configuration on switch or router; burn-in for 24 hours with multiple power cycles; RMA any defective components if necessary; and re-packing, label, and shipping per client delivery schedule.
Network Installation
From equipment arrival to installation to implementation and training, UDT works closely with clients to ensure network installation is executed according to client specifications and expectations. As part of the process, UDT receives and inventories hardware, equipment and accessories, ensuring all required parts are received and have been configured as specified. Having collaborated with clients on the network specifications, our network technicians install the system, ensure configuration is operating to expectations, implement the proper log-on and credentialing, and test accessibility for resources across the network. From design to deployment, planning to Go Live, process collaboration to network training, UDT is your partner – every step of the way.
